Releasing the TUS Paper Archive

The literature on transcranial ultrasound stimulation is vast, and it's growing quickly. More papers are published every month in a very broad array of journals, and it's hard to keep track of them all without a structured way of capturing and searching the data.

Today we're releasing the TUS Paper Archive. This is an internal tool we created that we're now making broadly available to allow anyone to search and stratify the primary literature on transcranial ultrasound stimulation.

The archive is a structured database of papers that report original ultrasound exposure delivered to neural tissue with the intent of modulating its function. Each included paper is described by a fixed set of fields covering study design, anatomical target, device, and the acoustic and pulse-timing parameters named in the ITRUSST reporting consensus.

We purposefully don't cover review papers and opinion pieces (of which there are many). The intention is to update the archive every month. The records and tooling are available open source at github.com/NeuroHarmonics/tus-paper-archive. Suggestions, corrections, and additions from the community are very welcome via GitHub issues.
